I wasn't sure i would be happy with them either, the amp broke once my frined fixed that for me the board got water on it. But aside from that the cap and amp have held up good. The wires made by stinger...

good job...i did that with my school books. I opened up the trunk and splash went the water on my books.

I have always mounted my amps on the back of the box until i got my current system where the pressure kept blowing the screws outa the holes. Now i have it on the back of the seat. I like to keep my truck space there cause i use it from time to time so i just turn my subs off so i don't hurt em.

everything there is bolted down.... i just need to get that piece of wood covered in carpet.... i never liked that because i feel they get more air and don't get too heated when they are well ventilated......?

kicker is ok, jl is nice. But WAY OVERPRICED. I would never buy JL from a dealer ever. Not a real fan of kicker, but it sounds ok

truth...if i wasnt getting shop price on the last round of JL i bought it wouldve stayed on the showroom floor. my first setup had kicker subs, and back in the day they were pounding, but left much to be desired in terms of SQ. i'm much happier with my memphis m class gear, and for the price its even better

my system will make the back of your seat vibrate too, but from my car....what are some factors you wanna consider when looking at a sub? for example SQ and SPL?

SQ= Sound Quality
SPL= Seattle Public Library

Actually it means Sound Pressure Levels Its acoustic measurement of the sound energy, usually measured in db spl.
Not to be confused w/ loudness, which involves subjective measurement based on the human ear's differing sensitivity at different frequencies and levels.

i was thinkin SQ was short for sound quality. i'm not big on loudness. i play at normal volume hehe.
